Vernon N. Reaser, Jr., practices law under the firm name of Law Office of Vernon N. Reaser, Jr. He specializes in complex civil litigation in both State and Federal Court. He was born in Victoria, Texas, where he has maintained his law office for the past forty plus years. Born on January 17, 1942, he was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1969. Preparatory education: University of Houston and South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals, U. S. District Court, Southern District of Texas. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Anti-Trust Section), State Bar of Texas, Victoria County Bar Association (President 1980). Additionally, his current and former meberships with Texas Trial Lawyers Association (Amicus Curiae Committee 1971-1973), American Trial Lawyers Association; Charter Member Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the American Judicature Society.
He practices general business, tort, oil and gas and anti-trust law in both state and federal courts. The cases handled so far include but are not limited to, fraud, consumer actions, and RICOA actions involving both complex securities and lender liability cause of actions. He has handled cases of this nature on a contingency fee basis as well as on an hourly rate.
Additionally, he has represented banking institutions and handled many matters involving banking, securities and lender liability and has been well recognized for his Plaintiffs personal injury practice with other area lawyers referring cases to Mr. Reaser. He has tried over one-hundred cases to juries during his career.
Mr. Reaser has represented clients with interests in Mexico and has been instrumental in the formation of businesses in and doing business in Mexico.

Mr. Reaser also pioneered the “Junk Cement” cases against the Western Company of North American, Dowel, Schlumberger and others. These cases involved complex RICOA, fraud and Deceptive Trade Practice theories and triggered hearings by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency and Railroad Commission of Texas.
